Congratulations to Kabir Randhawa who broke the Team Suffolk 13-14 boys record for the 1000 Freestyle at Sectionals. His time of 9:53.69 eclipsed the previous record set in 1997. Great swim!
The Team Suffolk 8&U Boys 100 Freestyle record now belongs to Noah Cakir, who swam a time of 1:09.73 at the Metro 8&U Championships. The record had previously been held since 1991. Noah also won the 7&U Boys High Point award. Great job Noah! Also at 8&U Champs, Ryan Hwang claimed the Team Suffolk 8&U Boys 50 Backstroke record with a time of 37.45. Congratulations Ryan, well done!

Congratulations swimmers!! A big thank you to the swimmers, parents, coaches, and volunteers who made our November 9th Swim Across America Team Suffolk Swim to Fight Cancer a great success. Together we helped raise $45,000 for cancer research, prevention, and treatment. The proceeds of the swim will support cancer research at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center-SAA Laboratory, the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, and the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
